Dr. Cornfield, owner of SMART Medical believes that“Life is Motion.” His personal mission is to help his patients feel good and enjoy life. Dr. Cornfield is a graduate of the University of Maryland and the New York Chiropractic College. He is an avid Terps fan, rarely missing a basketball game. He also is a huge New York Rangers fan. Keeping himself in motion, he works out daily at his gym, Evolve Academy doing Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu and on Sunday’s he dabbles playing basketball. Aside his business, he is actively involved in his kids live’s and is very much adored by his friends and his community.
Dr. Jackie Syme MD
After his fellowship in EMG/neuromuscular disease, he worked at St. Agnes Hospital for several years. Eventually Dr. Syme practiced solo at a practice in Gambrills until 2014, where he found home at SMART Medical & Rehab Therapy. Dr. Syme's speciality and interests are with headaches, migraines and concussions.

Dr. Sandra Rubio DC
Dr. Sandra Rubio began her career by earning a B. S. Degree in Health and Physical Education from Indiana University. Her interest was in teaching youth to grow up fit, active, healthy, and happy. Through a unique experience living in Japan for a year, she learned of their Natural and Holistic approach to Wellness as their primary health care system. This is where she saw her first chiropractor, and her passion for athletics, physical fitness, and nutrition evolved into including chiropractics; a care of the neurological system and it’s effect on the muscles and joints as well as on all organ systems of the body.
